This advanced course is designed to enhance the knowledge of an IBM i System Operator providing the concepts of how LPAR works, the different types of security authorization on data access level, the user and group profiles management, security lists, and inherit authorizations. Additionally, it offers advanced hands on exercises in CL programming and menu creation using application development tools like PDM, SEU and SDA.

This advanced course is designed for the persons who are responsible for operating and managing the administration of an IBM System i. Prerequisites

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of system operations, object save and restore, simple CL commands executing, jobs management and security authorizations is mandatory. Prerequisite course OP101
