Modernization and cloud integration of core business application on IBM I platform with Nemo iModernize

The Case

The parent company of our client decided to introduce an external cloud-based application as a single point of reference for premium calculation for all subsidiary entities. 

“ Our Core Insurance application, running on IBM I, was required to integrate real-time with our parent company’s external cloud-based application during new business, policy change and renewals workflows. “

The Solution

Nemo IT Solutions designed and implemented an internal Process Server on IBM I, using synchronous non-keyed Data Queues to create a two-way real-time integration with our Client’s Java Stack middleware. This allowed our client to leverage existing integration solutions to maximize security and reliability. 

Following the iModernize approach, Nemo IT Solutions were able to:
